Welcome, today i want to add some more tips for beginners.
Ok so you have your own character avatar and you want to go for a little quest hunt, to do that gather possible all quest you can and do it. If your main objective is to complete quests but not grind, take someone with you. When i played in World of Warcraft, on lower levels i mostly played alone, but after Lord of the Rings Online, I'm playing in team all the time. Its probably best way to fast level up your character by completing quests.
In fact playing in team is really really cool but its hard to get items from monster, and gold. Anyway its hard to generalize this. I think is good to grind alone from time to time and good to went on a raid or something.
Thats little out of topic but i was on a raid in LotRO few days ago, we were fighting with terrible Bogbereth - giant spider (this Bogbereth has around 20 feet). We beat her very easily and our second target will be Rift or Thorog - mighty dragon, probably toughest enemy in all game! I'm already on 50 level so ive got max level till Mines of Moria expansion when cap will be raised to 60 ;D GREAT!
